What are the dates?

The festival runs from April 24 to May 3 this year. Each day features a variety of screenings and events. Be sure to check the schedule for specific times and locations. It should be finalized mid-March!

How do I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online through our website or at the venue box office. We recommend buying in advance to secure your spot for popular screenings. Pass holders will need to reserve their seats through Eventive to ensure we have your spot.

Tickets for seminars are available and can be purchased separately.

What to know before you go

Venue Address: 

  • Cinemark Memorial City Theatres, 310 Memorial City Way, Houston, TX 77024

Parking: Ample parking is available near the theaters. Cinemark parking is located off Gessner near California Pizza Kitchen. Carpooling and the use of public transportation are encouraged to ease congestion.

Seating: Pass holders are advised to reserve their seats through Eventive to ensure availability. 

Special Events: 

  • Opening Night Film and Reception: Kick off the festival with a special screening followed by a reception. Details will be announced closer to the festival dates.
  • Master Class Seminars: Engage with industry professionals through a series of educational seminars. Access is included with VIP Gold and Platinum Passes.
  • Awards Ceremony: Celebrate the achievements of filmmakers at the festival's concluding awards event. Entry is included with the VIP Platinum Pass.
  • Awards Gala: Saturday May 2 at the Hotel ZaZa Memorial City. Tickets and tables available.
  • Houston offers a wide range of lodging options to suit various budgets. It's advisable to book accommodations early, as hotels near the festival venue may fill up quickly.

Dining and Entertainment: Houston boasts a variety of dining options, from casual eateries to fine dining establishments around both theaters. Festival attendees can explore the local culinary scene between screenings.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is ample parking available near the festival venues. Cinemark parking is located off Gessner near California Pizza Kitchen. We encourage carpooling and using public transportation when possible.

What is the best way to travel with a group?

Group transportation is recommended with our local partners, Metro Houston Charter Bus. They offer easy booking for bus rentals in Houston for groups both small and large.
We also partner with National Charter Bus for all your group transportation needs. Whether you need a minibus or a 56 passenger charter bus, they are a leading provider of charter buses in Houston.
Another option for traveling to WorldFest is CharterUP. You are sure to find a comfortable charter bus rental to get you safely to the festival and back.

Are there age restrictions?

Some films may have age restrictions based on their content. We recommend checking for film content advisories prior to purchasing.  Parental guidance is advised unless indicated as a children's film.
A few of our events are 21+ and it will be posted as such.

What should I bring?

We suggest bringing a valid ID for ticket verification, along with any necessary items for comfort, like a sweater or blanket. Don't forget your enthusiasm for film!
